How do you engage physicians at a professional meeting attended by more than 5,000? By creating a space they can’t help but want to enter: professional, intriguing … and promising a valuable, personalized experience.
That’s what Star created for Entellus, a medical technology company that designs products for treatment of chronic and recurrent sinusitis. The three-year old Entellus exhibit needed an update to showcase current products and messaging, so Star created newly designed components and combined them with repurposed assets to activate a whole new experience for physicians attending the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF).
Since Entellus wanted the exhibit to provide physicians the opportunity to receive certified training on use of the company’s Eustachian Tube Dilation equipment, Star created 6 training stations in the exhibit space for staff to train physicians. A concierge area welcomes and checks-in physicians, giving them a place to store their belongings as they suit up in gloves and gowns. Star worked with staff to orchestrate a seamless, professional experience for guests … in an otherwise hectic professional meeting environment.
For an added level of personalization, Star created a separate 10x20 meeting space elsewhere on the show floor to which Entellus staff escorted current and potential customers for private conversations.
