A storytelling installation honors one of the university’s most dedicated donors – Guy Schoenecker – showcasing his contributions and inspiring continued investment in STEAM education.
Challenge
At the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, the Schoenecker Center is the university's state of the art home for STEAM education. As part of its design, collaborators wanted to feature a donor wall highlighting the contributions of a family with a deep university legacy whose impact reverberates across the campus.
Solution
The Guy Schoenecker donor recognition display features a lighted exhibit that connects stories from Guy’s life to the vision for Schoenecker Center and celebrates the generosity of donors who made the $110 million facility possible.
Result
STAR masterfully brought the vision for the Guy Schoenecker Donor Wall to life, honoring Guy's profound contribution to education. Through a meticulous approach and exceptional craftsmanship, STAR transformed the wall into a stunning tribute. This installation celebrates generosity and stands as a testament to his enduring legacy in shaping the future of education at the University of St. Thomas.From the beginning, STAR approached this project like an art installation.
