Acpi® came to STAR for a 10’ by 20’ rental with select custom elements for KBIS 2020, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. KBIS is North America’s largest trade show dedicated to all aspects of premium kitchen and bath design. The expansive floor is filled with the freshest designs from over 600 leading brands and allows the 31,000 attendees and 400 press attendees the opportunity to network, exchange ideas and build their business.
Acpi is the largest independent manufacturer and distributor of cabinets in the United States, headquarterd in Texas, serving single and multi-family builders, distributors, home centers and dealers. Thier goal for the show was to utilize the space as a conference room and meeting area. STAR designed, fabricated and installed that desired space and developed an area appropriate for semi-private meetings with brand representation throughout (i.e. backlit acpi logo) that was a collaboration of acpi’s and STAR’s work.
Since KBIS is the ultimate venue where media, influencers and potential customers are bustling across the show floor at all times and gather together, KBIS was acpi’s opportunity to “wow” the influential attendees, strengthen ongoing relationships and build new ones as well. That’s where the conference space enhanced the experience of acpi. They were able to showcase their most trend-forward, of-the-moment products and spark excitement and allure regarding product launches for the year ahead.
The booth had back-to-back meetings with potential clients throughout the show. Most importantly, the meeting space was private enough to hold meetings with sensitive information – a crucial part of the solution to best showcase what’s possible with acpi’s brands. In order to fulfill their need for a quality rental system that fit within budget, STAR turned to BeMatrix Rental. BeMatrix is a proven modular stand building system that works seamlessly, meant not to look like a rental exhibit itself. STAR was able to provide quick turnarounds with new ideas throughout the project process that allowed for effortless collaboration with the acpi team. Acpi installed cabinetry once the booth was set up in STAR’s functional flex space.
STAR and acpi team were elated by the success of booth traffic and the overall experience and the teams are working on future plans for KBIS 2021.
