Corporate experience center design challenge
After years of partnering with STAR to launch branded Experience Centers across the country, Pella Northland sought to bring that same immersive, product-forward environment to their own headquarters. But this wasn’t a traditional retail showroom. The goal was to integrate key elements of Pella’s proven retail experience system into a refined corporate interior environment within the Pella lobby that supported immersive product storytelling and executive-level brand engagement, specifically within the Pella Northland HQ lobby.
The challenge? Translate the impact of Pella’s full-scale retail experience into a focused, compact footprint—without compromising the seamless design and storytelling that define the brand’s presence nationwide.
Vision for a modern corporate experience center
The new headquarters Experience Center needed to do more than display products. It needed to function as a branded corporate environment that supported customer engagement, partner collaboration, and immersive brand experiences. The center needed to serve as a brand-forward destination for builder and architect partners, internal stakeholders, and executive guests.
This hybrid environment would draw from the best elements of Pella’s existing Experience Centers while feeling fully integrated into the surrounding architecture. It had to be smart, compact, and thoughtfully executed—conveying both the premium quality of Pella’s products and the strength of their customer experience.
STAR’s corporate experience center design solution
STAR adapted its national showroom system to fit the needs of Pella’s corporate headquarters lobby, creating a scalable branded environment that balanced product interaction, architectural integration, and premium design. The design featured custom-engineered millwork fixtures and modular displays that brought both form and function to the space. These elements showcased Pella’s product line in a tactile, elegant way, while integrating cleanly into the flow of the existing lobby.
Because the core display system had already been proven across dozens of retail locations, the HQ installation benefited from rapid execution, visual consistency, and scalable engineering. Branded finishes, pull-out window cartridges, and curated architectural touches tied the space together.
As one Pella stakeholder noted, the finished space felt “seamless with our lobby”—a subtle but meaningful validation of STAR’s integration work.

Impact of the corporate experience center transformation
Pella’s Northland headquarters now features a fully integrated corporate experience center that reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation, premium design, and customer engagement.
Though smaller in scope than a full retail environment, the installation brings the same strategic advantages: intuitive product exploration, immersive brand storytelling, and a polished, professional welcome for every visitor.
The project also reinforced STAR’s ongoing partnership with Pella, demonstrating how retail experience systems can be scaled and tailored across contexts—from national rollouts to meaningful corporate interiors.
