Exhibiting Challenge
For MegaFood, Expo West 2025 was an opportunity to bring its plant-powered, planet-first mission to life in a way that would captivate and educate. With a wide range of products and brand stories to share, the team needed a space that would feel open, welcoming, and purpose-driven—while staying efficient and sustainable.
They envisioned an immersive environment that could showcase their four core brand pillars—innovation, sustainability, standards, and community—within a compact 20×30 footprint. Product storytelling, sampling, and sensory engagement were top priorities, alongside flexibility and low environmental impact.
Exhibit Design Vision
The goal was to create a “living” space that invited attendees to explore, discover, and connect. Key design priorities included:
- Translating MegaFood’s brand purpose into tangible experiences
- Developing interactive brand stations and sampling zones
- Highlighting product innovation through impactful visuals and education
- Prioritizing sustainability with smart material choices and modular construction
STAR Custom Exhibit Solution
STAR delivered a modern, vibrant booth that radiated MegaFood’s brand values—clean, credible, and conscious—down to every last detail.
Experiential Brand Stations:
The center of the booth featured a monitor wall showcasing over 80 SKUs, framed by a set of custom terrariums filled with the same fruits and vegetables found in MegaFood’s supplements. These terrariums were suspended with chunky rope and hooks, creating an earthy, organic visual story while reinforcing the brand’s real-food roots.
Engaging Sampling Areas:
Two separate counters served as both product sampling stations and gathering points, using acrylic-topped boxes for rotating SKUs and built-in lighting for maximum visibility. One station cleverly transformed into a cocktail area for happy hour activations.
Sustainable, Modular Design:
Sustainability was core to the booth’s build. STAR incorporated beMatrix panels, known for their reusability and low-waste assembly, along with recyclable materials like Falcon Board and SEG vinyl graphics. The booth’s modular components—including custom frames, rental cabinets, and transformable counters—kept the design nimble and resource-efficient, without sacrificing style.
Details That Carried Meaning:
The booth design mirrored MegaFood’s signature 13° brand angle in the hanging sign and flooring, which was split between green vinyl and warm wood grain. The natural textures and bright palette created a modern, inviting space that aligned perfectly with the brand’s visual identity.
Custom Exhibit Impact
Expo West 2025 was a brand-defining moment for MegaFood—and STAR’s partnership helped deliver on both vision and values.
A Booth That Stopped Traffic:
The open, light-filled space stood out in a crowded hall, naturally drawing visitors in with its approachable layout and warm design. Attendees were able to experience the brand firsthand—visually, physically, and even tastefully.
Immersive Brand Storytelling:
Through dynamic visuals, sample interactions, and thoughtfully crafted brand stations, MegaFood was able to bring its product innovations and brand purpose to life in a way that felt meaningful and memorable.
Sustainable Execution:
Using beMatrix panels and other reusable materials aligned with MegaFood’s planet-first mission while minimizing environmental impact and build waste—without compromising on quality or creativity.
Enduring Partnership:
MegaFood’s team praised the booth as one of the best they’d ever brought to a show, noting its simplicity, beauty, and impact. It reflected not only who they are today, but where they’re headed next.
Conclusion
For MegaFood, Expo West 2025 was more than a trade show—it was an opportunity to show the world what plant-powered, planet-first design can truly look like. With STAR Exhibits as their creative partner, they transformed a 20×30 space into an experience that educated, engaged, and inspired. Together, STAR and MegaFood proved that when a brand’s mission meets thoughtful design, every square foot tells a story worth sharing.
