Rich Rizzardi | VP of Client Engagement
Leading STAR’s strategy, marketing, business development and client services, Rich brings a keen ability of connecting client strategy to execution. Following a lengthy career with Campbell Mithun and McCann, Rich went on to lead commercial strategy for several private equity and privately held companies as Business Unit President or Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. His focus at STAR is to ensure insightful strategy drives ROI for our clients.
With 23 years of experience, Justin leads and inspires his team to design with purpose, focused on brand strategy and meaningful results. A graduate of Bemidji State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Technology, he is an EDPA University Affiliation Co-Chair and former EDPA Designer of the Year recipient. Justin also lends his time, talents, and experience to countless students at both BSU and FIT through guest lecturing and mentorship.
Dave Whorton | Director of Sports and Entertainment Partnerships
Dave is a seasoned sales, marketing and sponsorship professional that thrives on delivering thoughtful, innovative solutions to brands, agencies and sports teams across the county. Over the course of his career, he has led the strategy development for several top organizations, including: Bank of America, the American Heart Association, AT&T, Good Sports, PepsiCo, Free Green Can (a Chicago-based startup), Bank of the West, Citizens Bank, IEG and several other leading brands.
As Client Services Manager, Stephanie is responsible for providing management support to the extensive team of project managers at Star. Stephanie works closely with clients and develops in depth knowledge of their brand objectives and product attributes. She is a Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) which enables her to share best practices in trade shows and events.
Tom Tessman | Account Director
In his role as Account Director, Tom Tessman is committed to helping clients succeed and build their brands through high-impact experiences. Prior to Star, Tom held account leadership and business growth roles for high-profile brands, advertising and communication agencies, and marketing insights firms. Tom is passionate about environmental issues and serves as a board member and volunteer for several community and nonprofit organizations.
