Great Clips, Inc., the Minneapolis-based network of more than 4,000 salons nationwide, knows that a new haircut can be the secret to creating a whole new attitude—just as a new exhibit can bring new character and energy to a company’s brand. Enter Star.
Great Clips wanted their new exhibit at RECon, the Global Retail Real Estate Convention, to introduce a modern look that moved beyond the typical salon feel. Working with Star, the new exhibit incorporated warm lighting, inviting wood elements … with just the right pop of color to turn heads on the show floor. Colorful graphic display panels featured the company’s new online check-in system for customers to plan their walk-in hair appointments, and meeting spaces in the exhibit became the object of an employee contest to see who could book the most appointments. All in all, the exhibit created a fresh new style for an established style leader.
