Want an idea of how pet-friendly Star’s work environment is? We have a dedicated dog-washing area. So, it’s no surprise that when Chuck and Don’s Pet Food and Supplies came to visit us, they found kindred spirits—and inspiration for their stores.
As the rapidly growing pet supply retailer prepared to open new locations and remodel existing ones, its design team toured our new facility in search of ideas they could incorporate into their store fixtures, particularly the cash-wrap areas (which they did by drawing from the industrial yet warm finishes they found in our meeting spaces).
The retailer also wanted Star to help increase security for behind-the-counter products, add a cabinet with open air-flow for live crickets and decrease square footage.
Perhaps most importantly—because Chuck and Don’s takes great pride in providing a personalized shopping experience—Star’s design for the cash-wrap area engages customers, both human and four-legged.
The results? Tail-waggin’, all around.
